PUCHEGUIN

The Pucheguin property was assembled from 74 different owners of 8 different family trees. It was a great task to gather them all and a greater one to reach an agreement on the price of the property. This was finally achieved and AMG Limited holds an option for purchase. The property has Pucheguin property no leans at all, and is perfectly clean of all legal impedi-ments.

In and within its limits covering approx-imately 155,000 hectares, the property has 4 major lakes and several others of smaller size. It has 4 major rivers and dozens of smaller water flows. With respect to the forest inventory, the property was last studied in January of 1997 and has approximately 20.000.000 cubic meters of native Chilean wood. The wood species comprehends all of the native Chilean woods including, Coigue(60%), Tepa (20%), Lenga (15%), and others like Mañio, Canelo and Raulí. The forest is an over mature forest due to the fact that has remained untouched, needing a selected cut and cares to improve it.

The project encompasses a complete forestry plan to Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) standards. It embodies ecological, environmental, silvicultural and wildlife concerns, providing the region a strong economic, sustainable autonomy.

The regional benefits will improve local employment and develop international markets to satisfy an ever-increasing world wide demand for hardwoods.
